The idea for Donnacha Rynne to write an account of his life came about in a conversation between himself and his uncle Barry (Luka). During the course of the conversation Donnacha used the expression “the nowness of life” to describe living in the moment, neither looking back nor looking forward.
Donnacha Rynne was born with cerebral palsy and in his early 20’s developed multiple sclerosis which, in combination, has confined him to a wheelchair for the last number of years.
Donnacha would like people who read this book to get a sense of who he is and what it’s like for him living alone in a wheelchair.
The book also contains 16 poems of Donnacha’s and contributions from family, friends and colleagues.
